A few weeks ago I had photographed the very handsome and gentle Boston. We had a lovely time exploring different tracks and playing catch. He was the perfect gentleman - always listened to his Mum and was the impressive master of "sit and stay"

Very sadly at the time of the portrait sitting Boston had been diagnosed with a terminal illness and he passed away a few days ago.

It always breaks my heart when I hear that families have had to say goodbye to their companion animal. They are with us in the good times and are unconditional love when we need it the most.

They are family.
