Kia ora!
I’m a Wellington-based photographer and I have been professionally taking photos for over 15 years.
My approach to photography is to be relaxed and flexible, yet professional and ethical. If I am photographing your wedding or portrait shoot – I am creating images for YOU and I completely understand that every person, couple, family is unique and have their own ideas. I’m great at listening – especially over a coffee!
My business is about utilising my photography to not only capture beautiful moments in time for couples and families, but also to use my images to help promote better animal welfare.
I LOVE ANIMALS. SERIOUSLY. I LOVE ANIMALS.
I have two cats of my own and they are part of my family. I know for many people their companion animal holds a very large piece of their heart and this makes complete sense. They are a big part of your life, in some cases for a couple of decades.
Helping animal welfare organisations is a particular passion of mine and each year I donate a large amount of my time to animal charities.
In particular I have been donating my time for nearly a decade to the SPCA New Zealand (especially Wellington Centre), and HUHA (Helping You Help Animals). For both organisations I photograph animals for adoption when needed, events, annual appeals, staff portraits and general marketing photography. I have photographed the amazing HUHA response to the Nelson Fires in 2019 and important historical events such as the royal visit by the Duchess of Cornwall to Wellington SPCA in 2015.
Donating my time to both these incredible organisations is a way for me to help animals in need - to “give back”.
If you are looking for a photographer I’d love to chat about your ideas over that coffee xx
