Meet the gorgeous Romi and Roxi! I had the absolute pleasure of photographing these two little characters a while ago.

This portrait sitting was held during the winter months and look how gorgeous the weather is!! I often think people can be put off by the chilly temperatures but winter is actually a fantastic time to have a sitting.

It’s less hot for your dog! You don’t have to worry about their wee paws being burnt on the pavement or hot sand. And if your dog feels the cold they can wear cute coats!!!

It can also be a bit quieter in all the dog friendly areas in winter, so if your dog is distracted by other dogs running around - the chillier months may be a better time.

Lastly in Wellington - we get some STUNNING sunny winter days and let’s be honest sometimes our summers can be a little unpredictable in the capital.

So don’t get put off by a little cold weather - chuck on a scarf, snuggly coat, some gumboots and lets go for a walk to capture your gorgeous dog!
