I've always wanted to photograph a styled wedding shoot, so when I had the opportunity to showcase Wellington SPCA's "The Ward" and work with some ah-maz-ing wedding specialists I jumped at the chance.

We wanted to go for a relaxed, elegant style for the shoot but also wanted to inject a little fun. After all weddings are happy occasions and there should be a lot of laughter and cheer!

I photographed the Fever hospital before, during and after restoration and the Wellington SPCA have created an amazing space for animals to reside while waiting for furever homes. Its also a really nice environment for their staff and volunteers to work in and for the public to visit!

The Ward and Café are available for hire in conjunction with each other or independently. Proceeds from the hire of these spaces go directly to support the animals in need in the Wellington region. The Fever Hospital is a Grade II heritage listed building rich in grandeur and elegance and displays some beautiful views of Wellington from Mount Victoria. It is the SPCA’s privilege to share this magnificent building with Wellington.
